Why Teens Make Bad Decisions

Topic : Why do teens make bad decisions ? Don't be afraid to go after what you want to do, and what you want to be. But don't be afraid to be willing to pay the price. In the last 20 years, the earnings level of dropouts doubled, while it nearly tripled for college graduates. Approximately 4 in 10 young women in the U. S. become pregnant at least once before turning 20 years old. These are perfect examples of bad decisions teens make in life . Teenagers can’t be considered as adults because their lack of maturity and their brain aren’t developed yet .Teens lack their maturity to care of the consequences of there actions . They can get into it from fun , pressure , and being curious/experiment . A part of a teens brain isn’t developed fully so that’s what makes them stupid . The human brain for females fully develops by the age 19 – 21 and for guys it’s 25 . Teenagers usually are not willing to get something from hard work so they find an easy way out of it . Things like smoking , doing drugs , and drinking .Many kids get peer pressure either because that’s the only choice they have , like in a party they don’t want to feel like a loser or a outcast or because they started hanging out with different people and they happened to do drugs . People are influenced by peers because they want to fit in, be like peers they admire, do what others are doing, or have what others have. Also influence by the way they dress and act, things they're involved in, and the attitudes they show. Not all peer pressure is bad , peers can set good examples for each other .Having peers who are committed to school or doing good in a sport will most likely influence you to do the same . Your peers encourage you to work hard for something you really want . Your friends will be their to listen and support you when your down and upset . Your friends listen and give you their opinion on things . They can also help you make decisions , fr iends often give each other good advice and will be quick to tell you when you might be doing the wrong thing or maybe something risky .Many kids are raised right and taught well but they still do bad decisions due to lack of parenting . When a kid and parents fight that kid has more than enough â€Å"emotional support† from the wrong people, who agree with his side of things, outside his family. Bad parenting never helps a child grow into a solid, sensible, teen; but I'm convinced that many, if not most, bad choices teens make are not the result of bad parenting. The goal for parents is to create an environment where teens can trust and learn from .It’s very important that parents be aware about how they act and feel so that they can talk about the situation appropriately when there dealing with a teenager whose doing bad decisions . Approximately 80% of adult smokers started smoking before the age of 18. Every day, nearly 3,000 young people under the age of 18 become regular smokers. One reason often heard from people using drugs is that they do it to make them feel good .Some might light up a cigarette at a party . They might not consider themselves a † smoker † but they do it to feel good or to † look cool † . Some teens might smoke pot in a friends house because they would think its fun . Little did they know that the same effects can occur whether you’re drinking to have fun or drinking to forget a problem whether you're doing drugs to see how they feel or doing them to be one of the crowd . No one wants to be left out.So sometimes they make bad decisions , like taking drugs , to cover up their insecurities. They don't think about how drugs can isolate you from your friends and family. Lots of people turn to drugs for a little excitement because they say there’s nothing else to do . But people who make these kinds of decisions usually find out that drugs are a waste . Drugs don’t change the situa tion they might make it worse . In addition another reason why teenagers take drugs is because they want to escape and relax .The thing is , the problems are still there and not only do they still have to deal with it , they have to deal with it when they’re not thinking straight . The number one drug that teens use is marijuana . Anyway it goes in your body will mess up the way your brain works and ability to do good decisions . These bad decisions can involve making sexual choices that are unsafe , saying things your going to regret later . Whats more negative then all of those is that it can effect your memory and your ability to learn .Marijuana affects different people in different ways , but the following short-term effects are common : problems with thinking and solving problems difficulty remembering and learning things altered perception of light, sound and touch clumsiness increased appetite increased heart rate No matter why other people are using it , you don†™t have to join them . You’re the one that needs to speak up and make smart choices . Many teens make the mistake of giving into their urgues without thinking things through . Sex is more then just a pleasurable act , it’s a risk .Most teens don’t stop to think about having sex . Deciding whether it’s right for you to have sex is one of the most important decisions teens ever have to make . In fact considering some factors both physical ones , like a possibility of becoming pregnant or getting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) . On the other hand some teens who are going out don’t pressure each other about sex , truth is that in many relationships one person wants to have sex but the other one doesn’t .One person in a relationship is more curious and has stronger sexual feelings than the other . As with almost every other major decision in life , teenagers ned to do what is right for them and no one else . Sex should be an expression of love not something a person feels that they must do . If a boyfriend or girlfriend truly love you they wouldn’t pressure you to do something you aren’t ready for yet . Each person must use his or her judgment and decide if it’s the right time and the right person .Alcohol use is very common among teens , especially drinking five or more alcholic beverages over the course of a few hours , it’s dangerous for a teen because it puts them at risk of health problems now and the future . Everyone knows that the legal drinking age throughout the United States is 21. But according to the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse , almost 80% of high school students have tried alcohol. When large amounts of alcohol are consumed in a short period of time , alcohol poisoning can result .Some reasons that teens use alcohol and other drugs are : curiosity to feel good , reduce stress , and relax to fit in to feel older Although it’s illegal to buy alcoho l in the united states until 21 , many teens can get access to it . Therefore it’s up to the teen to make the decision about drinking . Teens who drink are likely to get into fights and commit crimes . Teens who drink are more likely to be sexually active and have unprotected sex . Use of alcohol causes the chance that a teen will be involved in a car crash , homicide , or suicide .One thing leads to another and then another and then another. Before you know it , you've made a bad decision based on the bad decision you made before that one . As a teen your trying to find your own place in the world . Making decisions for yourself , those decisions can be good ones or bad . parents can’t sit back and watch you make mistakes to learn from . If your parents think that you are hiding things from them in order to do things they wouldn’t approve .You must behave in an open and honest manner with your parents at all times . You need to give them an idea of how you thin k and behave when there not around . Many teens take their relationships every bit as seriously as adults . Parents need to be positive about the teens friends and get to know them . Like it or not , the teenager friends will be most likely be their strongest influence and support when it comes to dating . Dating helps teenagers to get along with others , communicate , and make decisions .It is an important part of growing up . Here are some teenagers' statistics and facts about sexuality in the United States : Parents rate high among teens as trustworthy and preferred information sources on birth control. Half of teens say they trust their parents for reliable and complete information on birth control. Teens say that parents most influence their decisions about dating and relationships. 89 percent of parents think they've had helpful conversations with their teens about sex.Only 71 percent of teens agree. Body image can be a real problem for every teenager . Body image is a personà ¢â‚¬â„¢s opinion , thoughts , and feelings about their body and physical appearance . Body image means feeling satisfied with the way you look , appreciating your body , and accepting it’s imperfections . So how a teen feels about their body will affect on how they feel about themselves . If the teen gets to focused on not liking the way they look , their self esteem can go down .While it's important to have a positive body image , getting too focused on body image and appearance can cause a teen to overlook the other positive parts of themselves . Teenagers are more worried about body image than the environment , school and peer pressure. Self esteem is all about how much people value themselves , the pride they feel In themselves , and how they feel . It’s important because feeling good about yourself will affect you on the way that you act . Some people think they need to change how they look or act to feel good about themselves. That’s not the right way to so lve your insecuritys about yourself , all you need to do is change the way you see your body and what you think about yourself . Sexually transmitted diseases ( STD ) are infections diseases that spread from person to person . STD can affect guys and girls from all ages who are having sex . If you untreat some STD’s can cause permanent damage like not having a baby or even death . STD’s spread easily because you can’t tell whether someone has it or not .In fact some teens have STD’s and don’t even know it . These teens are in danger of passing the infection to their sex partner without realizing it . Two of the main reasons people are bullied are because of appearance and social status . Bullies pick on people they don’t fit in , maybe because of how they look , how they act , or their race or religion . Teens in a popular group often bully people they think is different by excluding them and talk about them . A lot of bullies have things in common .They like to take over and focus on themselves . They sometimes have no feelings or caring to other people . Bullies put other people down to make themselves feel more powerful . And some bullies act the way they do because they’ve been hurt by bullies in the past or maybe the bully was in there family like their parents or even another adult . Bullying backfires and makes everyone feel bad and miserable even the bullies themselves . People might feel intimidated by bullies , but they don't respect them.

Reading Reflection Essay

The reader-response appeal to literature relies on the reader’s ability to process the information being shared rather than the author or the text itself. With the reader-response, a person reads text and then relates to automatic explanations about life that are triggered moment by moment as they continue to read. The literature uses triggers that the reader’s nervous system spontaneously responds to. This type of approach to reading allows people to imagine and be creative within them. It allows the reader to hear, feel and smell what they are reading as if it were happening right now in front of them. The reader-response approach with â€Å"the Road Not Taken† by Robert Frost offered a common understanding for situations in which I had to choose between two decisions. There was a visceral vision of a dilemma to make a choice that would eliminate the other option from ever becoming a possibility when Frost submitted that there was remorse for not being able to travel down the paths for both decisions. Every decision we make causes a difference in some sort of way. Since Frosts’ dilemma was not clear and concise I was able to implement my own choices to make a decision on. The key linguistic that triggered the process was use of the term ‘path’. I was able to relate the poem to a difficult decision of whether or not I was going to move across the country for a job offer. When Frost wrote â€Å"because it was grassy and wanted wear† I was able to relate to the yearning to want to move to Florida (grassy), but not leave the support of his family behind in Michigan (wanted wear). My fiancà ©e and I had to sort through the mutual acknowledgement of each others concerns, have common understandings, and act with the other persons concerns in mind. Both ideas were individually acceptable and understanding by themselves, however; the path â€Å"to where it bent in the undergrowth†, was our childlike needs to be close to family and always have them to be there for us when needed. To travel across the country without a guarantee of success was non existent. The road â€Å"less traveled by† was the decision my fiancà ©e and I ended up executing; we moved to Florida with a faith that the decision was for the better. Most of our peer group still lives in Michigan; and while moving to Florida may carry unknown factors we feel as if we know how our lives will plan out by staying in Michigan. By taking the road less traveled we are unaware of the consequences that await me – both positive and negative – and that makes life more thrilling and I greet each week with anticipation. Mr. Frost’s ability to craft a poem with generic terms allows for the possibility to implement my own experience and apply absolute creativity. I suppose that people who take more risk and accept the unknowns about life can relate more to this poem than others but we can all still relate. I think that at some point I our lives we all come across a path that could go either way and we have to choose which path we will take. Perhaps in some cases the road that is more traveled may be safer or predictable, however, the road less traveled will have more twists and turns that can make the risk a more debatable question of whether it is acceptable or not. Though the poem is not one that I would typically gravitate towards, I’ve realized that by going out of the normal reading habits it allows my imagination to be inspired to find ways to relate. The reader-response approach to the poem would allow most viewers to find some way to relate to it because the way that it is crafted allows a reader to examine each sentence as something personal of the author and the vagueness allows for unlimited boundaries of the reader to interpret for themselves what could and will happen. The notion that everyone can interpret this poem differently is intriguing and inspires my creativity with reading and finding a way to relate myself. In the past, present or future – this poem is applicable to any area of thought that the reader allows. The theme of the poem may after all be to seize the day, and the creativity that comes out from our imagination ensures that the reader-response approaches to be guaranteed when reading â€Å"The Road Not Taken†. VW's Resources Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

VW's Resources - Assignment Example Based on the market research, VW should disseminate the information gathered to the research and development department so they can make the necessary adjustments in the automobile designs of VW. Since engineering is the core technical strength of VW, they should further enhance this strength by working hand in hand with the research and development team. Aside from the engineering strength of VW, another advantage of VW over the other automobile manufacturers is their heavy investment in plant and equipment. This, together with their gains in engineering can help overcome their weakness in terms of product development. Marketing and sales is considered an important capability in the car industry. One notices though that VW does not fare well in this area. The first step that VW should do is to redefine its target market. One probable reason why they do not perform as well as their competitors in this aspect may be because the strategies that they are employing are not appropriate to their target market. If VW will be able to specifically identify its target market, it will know how its characteristics and needs. The proper marketing and sales strategies will then be designed to answer to their target market’s needs. VW must look into the possibility of enlarging its auto dealerships nationwide and increasing their sales people. Increasing the sales people is not enough, they should also give them the right training to boost their sales. A review of VW’s marketing and sales pitch must be undertaken to determine its effectiveness. Another way to increase VW’s sales is to offer m ore incentives to their dealers and sales people whenever they reach their quota. Since VW’s strength is in the emerging markets, they should focus their attention in these markets. As of 2010, China is the largest market for the VW brand having a 33% market share worldwide (Soh, 2010). Given that VW has always had a weak North

Stand-up comedy in the middle east via youtube Article

Stand-up comedy in the middle east via youtube - Article Example New comedy performers with a different approach overrun 1960s and 70s. The new comedy was subversive, with a strong message. Comedy in those years used political and topical content to raise social questions, opinions and change the publics thinking. A 27-year-old Saudi comedian and a YouTube personality Fahad Al-Butairi, who was the first Saudi stand-up comedian to appear on stage professionally, started a YouTube channel that got so famous with many Arabs describing him as Seinfeld of Saudi Arabia. Al-Butairi started his comedy career when he was in middle school and used to perform in theater plays and in summer camps and centers in Saudi Arabia and other areas. In 2006, while studying in the US, Fahad Al-Butairi decided to try out at an open mike nights at the local comedy club in Austin where he was living basing his jokes on his personal experience, this was a success. The Security Breach at Nelm Case Study Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

The Security Breach at Nelm - Case Study Example However, there are serious flaws in the system configuration and the access control. The first concern should be that an insider might be acquiring the information in question. There are currently members of the sales, engineering, and production that are sharing the files on the LAN. The files should be restricted and only available on a need to know basis. There should only be a limited number of people in the marketing department that have access to the advertising files. This would eliminate unauthorized access to this sensitive information by a member of the production or engineering staff. If the attack is coming from an outside source, system access needs to be secured and limited. This may be done by the addition of an effective User ID and password system. The system should require regular changing of the passwords and have a mechanism to lockout the user after a limited number of failed attempts to stop a brute force attack. In addition, IP address monitoring should be implemented and users should be restricted to entering the system only from approved IPs. This would prevent off site hackers from gaining access to the system. To further secure the system, the Web server needs to be properly configured. The web based e-mail system will give unauthorized users a portal that may be exploited if the server has security flaws in it.

I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King Essay Example for Free

I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King Essay â€Å"I have a dream† was a speech delivered on August 28, 1963 by Martin Luther King in Lincoln Memorial Washington D. C. Martin Luther King’s role or position in his speech is that of an illustrator, or a mediator of peace and equality. He becomes one of those people who have seen the light and wanted to share this light to those other individuals who are still in the dark. He wanted or dreamed of a community wherein racial discrimination is no longer an issue. His ideal community is where everybody is free, no biases for either black or white people nor black or white community. He is in a position as to persuade the people to become more vigilant in watching their freedom and in receiving or wanting equality and justice. He also wanted each and every people to understand that one’s freedom or destiny is bound to the other. Because of this, he wanted everybody to properly exercise civil rights and must not prevent people from using this privilege. Generally, the intended audience of the speech is the black people, and also those who are not such as the white people, but are living with black people or in black communities. However, everybody can read or listen to his speech or statement because of the underlying principles included in his speech and his dreams or ideals can be utilized or preferred as a model for civil rights. â€Å"I have a dream† greatly inspires and effectively infuses its point of view to its audience, transforming dreams into reality and despair into hope; we dream of being free, and we become free because of this dream. Martin Luther King was prompted to write or make the statement or speech because of the continuing slavery that entangles each and every people, especially for the black people or communities. In addition to this, the belief and treatment or actions of the black people against the white people had alarmed the author to write or make this speech to the public. According to Martin Luther King, the slavery of the black people may have been released or abolished because of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. However, nowadays or 100 years later, this freedom from slavery is still ambiguous and it does not exist. In addition to this, Martin Luther King believes that there are still a lot of people who are experiencing police brutality and social discrimination. In addition to this, he thinks that the rights and privileges which were given to the people, especially the black people, is not properly implemented or received by the black communities. Martin Luther King takes on the affirmative side or in favor for equality amongst the black people and also the white people. He clearly shows or supports his stand through several examples and emphasis on his words or statements. Martin Luther King claims that every individual should learn to respect and give what is right to their neighbors. He is aware that there are people who are still suffering beyond the hands of law. He reasons this out by giving examples of those who were misunderstood, brutally beaten indiscriminately and provides logic as to why dreaming is an important part in one’s body. Martin Luther King is qualified to be a speaker or author of such paper because of his records and performance not only as a politician but also an individual who greatly cares for justice and freedom. I believe that the assumptions, ideas or claims of Martin Luther King are correct and good, with some deviances especially through the use of audio, video or format or instructions at more school. He was able to provide examples of real life situations where the civil rights of an individual becomes hindered. In addition to this, the audio and video formats are very much entertaining and at the same time, inform the audience of the predicaments of equality or justice in nations or communities. However, there are some claims or dreams which are somehow impossible to attain such as complete equality and freedom from prejudice from all countries or states. Being able to read Martin Luther King’s work, my perspective before to ignore claims and evidences and become settled in what the community gives me, had greatly changed. As such, the degree of my trust towards Martin Luther King did increase due to his great speech which is definitely eye-opening. The author has refutations that include the fulfillment of his dream or conditions in order to achieve a country, state or community. He also refutes the fact that freedom is already complete. The refutations made by Martin Luther King are really effective. In addition to this, he uses great emphasis on his words and greatly touches the sympathy of those who are listening to his speech. He was able to clearly state his dreams, one after the other and manage to state options or categories which would fulfill his dreams. His last statement â€Å"Free at last! As an individual who had already received the light from Martin Luther King, my desire for helping other people and providing equality or non-biased reactions had increased. My hopes for a better communication and media for spreading the word of the real scenario on freedom and equality also increased because of the persuasive message or speech delivered by Martin Luther King, Somehow, a part of me already wants to do something in order to help and at least be able to create balance within communities. In addition to this, his metaphor of a ring, representing one goal, and fingers representing the people, is really amazing and in reality lightens my belief. Submit Gulf Real Estate Properties Essay Example for Free

Submit Gulf Real Estate Properties Essay Many people dream of having a home with an ocean view from their home. Being able to walk onto your patio, sit, and admire a sunset sound like a scene in a Nicholas Sparks’ novel. So it should come to no surprise that homes with a scenic ocean view can demand a high price in the real estate market. Below you will see just how different the price from a sample of Florida condominiums sold with and without views of the Gulf of Mexico can demand. The Gulf Real Estate Properties, Inc has provided data from 58 condominiums they have sold. The sample is broken up into 40 condominiums with Gulf of Mexico views, and 18 without. Module 5: Gulf Real Estate Properties Mean â€Å"The mean is the average of the numbers. In other words it is the sum divided by the count,† (Math is Fun, 2014). Finding the mean of each sample of data is rather easy, you add them up and divide by the sample size. In every category the condominiums with a view out performed the other condominiums. The mean of the Gulf View Condominiums’ List Price and Sale Price are higher, and the number of days it takes to sell the home is less. To simplify the Gulf View Condominiums sell for more and quicker. Gulf View Condominiums have a mean price of 600.73, while No Gulf View Condominiums have a mean of 204.95. The difference between these two numbers could be argued that Gulf of Mexico views can increase a home’s selling price by almost three times its current asking price. Like the List Price the Sale Price mean favors the Gulf View Condominiums. The average Sale Price of the Gulf View Condominiums is 578.86, whereas the No Gulf View Condominiums have an average o f 196.43. The one statistic that No Gulf View Condominiums do not want to be higher than the Gulf View Condominiums is the one statistic that they are higher on. When you are trying to sell a home, you do not want it to take forever. The No Gulf View Condominiums take a mean of 237.45 days to sell, compared to Gulf View Condominiums taking only 184.9 days. That is a difference of 52.55, or a week shy of two months more to sell a condominium. When you look at the difference of the List Price subtracted by the Sale Price, a real estate agent could make it look in favor of the Gulf View Condominiums. The Gulf View Condominiums have a difference of  21.87, whereas the No Gulf View Condominiums is only 8.52. This difference makes it look like No Gulf View Condominiums sell closer to their list price, but this is untrue. Instead of subtracting the mean Sale Price from the List Price, and you divide the Sale Price by the List Price you get the percentile of the difference. In doing this you learn that on average the Gulf View Condominiums retain 96.36% of their listing price, where as the No Gulf View Condominiums only retain 95.85%. So not only do the gulf view homes list and sell for more quickly but they also sell closer to their list value. Mode â€Å"The mode is the value that occurs with the greatest frequency,† (Fundamentals of Business Statistics, 2011). The only category that both the condominiums have a mode in is the List Price. No Gulf View Condominiums have a mode List Price of 203 and Gulf View Condominiums have a mode of 336. This information could be used to skew information showing that the List Price between the two categories is closer than they actually are. Range The range of data is the largest value subtracted with the lowest value. The range can show the vast difference between homes. The Gulf View Condominiums have significantly higher List Price and Sale Price. This is reasonable conclusion as Gulf View Condominiums have created a more â€Å"dream home,† market. The Gulf View Condominiums List Price and Sales Price are 819 and 813.3, compared to No Gulf View Condominiums 168 and 160.9. Another way to show the extreme price range of the Gulf View Condominiums comparing the fact that the No Gulf View Condominiums highest selling home is a List Price of 299 and Sales Price of 282.6, and the Gulf View Condominium is 974 and 958.4 respectively. That is well over three times the value of No Gulf View Condominiums highest selling condominium. Days to Sell are the one range that is similar, although it still by far favors the Gulf View Condominiums. Gulf View Condominiums have a range of 252, whereas the No Gulf View Condominiums is 339. This makes a difference of 87; almost three months higher for No Gulf View Condominiums. This means property owners without a Gulf of Mexico view should be prepared that if they sell their home it could sit significantly longer on the market. Median and Inter-quartiles Range The inter-quartile range is away to overcome extreme values in the data. The second inter-quartile is also the median. The median for our sample is the average of the middle two observations in any column. The inter-quartile range is another tool that shows the discrepancy between the two condominiums. The Gulf View Condominiums first inter-quartile’s List Price and Sale Price is higher than the No Gulf View Condominiums fourth inter-quartile respectively. This shows that the bottom 25% of the Gulf View Condominiums are out listing and selling all of the No Gulf View Condominiums. In all of the Days to Sell inter-quartiles ranges Margin of Error With a margin of error you are essentially trying to find out how big of a change your calculations can be off. Think of senators in Congress. Every state has two senators, and if both senators in Colorado voted â€Å"yes,† on a bill does that mean every person residing in Colorado wanted that bill to pass? No, what it would mean, hopefully, is that the majority of the state would want it to pass. One way that you can assist in making a margin of error being more accurate is by making the sample size closer to the population. For example, Colorado’s House of Representatives would be more likely to vote accordingly with its state’s population than the Senate because it has seven representatives versus two. Unfortuanetely in our condominium war both the List Price and Sale Price margin of error is higher with Gulf View Condominiums. Despite Gulf Real Estate Properties Inc providing more data for the Gulf View Condominiums, these condominiums had a larger margin of error than the No Gulf View Condominiums. The reason for this is the fact that the List and Sale Price range of Gulf View Condominiums were also so much more spread out. The only area in the margin of error field that the Gulf View Condominiums beat the No Gulf View Condominiums is in the Days to Sell, this makes sense as Gulf View Condominiums proved a larger sample size and a smaller Days to Sell range for the calculations. Problem Solving For the branch managers desired sample size I came up with a sample size of 31 for the Gulf View Condominiums, and a sample size of 14 for the No Gulf View Condominiums. As for what the two List Price should sell for I found  the Gulf View to sell for approximately $567,562 and the No Gulf View to sell for $273,156. Conclusion While the No Gulf View Condominiums did have a smaller margin of error in almost every other category they were less successful. It comes as no surprise that ocean view properties would out sell non-ocean view properties in Florida. The good news for Gulf Real Estate Properties Inc is that this gives them opportunities of investment on properties. If the company was asked to sell a property that was in the lower inter-quartile, they could potentially purchase it themselves, remodel it, and sell if for a price closer to their third inter-quartile. Also, the information gathered regarding the price discrepancies between the two groups can help real estate agents direct future clients to specific homes based on their wants, needs, and price points. Specific Job Description And General Job Description Commerce Essay

Specific Job Description And General Job Description Commerce Essay General job des is best suitable if the single task has to be carried on by the group of people or if the same duties and functions are to be performed by multiple people may be at same department, place or at different places the best example may be the call canter executives or the customer support executives where as it may not the case in job des of specific nature General Job des may be for the lower level positions where the requirement is for huge amount of personnels or it may even be good for operational level. Whereas specific job des is for tactical and strategic levels General Job description may explain vision, mission, policies etc where as the later is position specific in an organisation Their may be group of people with same designation, salary ,roles and responsibility in general job des but the case may not be the same in specific job des specific job des may be required when the organisation wants to recruit the specialised person with specific skill sets 2. Suppose several people are employed in the same job as the one for which you are writing a job description. Would it be necessary to write a different job description for each person who works in the same job? In an organisation to develop the job description, it is necessary to study the competencies, abilities and skills that are required because when developing job description manager is supposed to make an analysis of job not the job holder of the position not the person, because all the people are supposed to carry on same function, has to achieve similar objective, it will also support you in evaluation the performance or performance appraisal, The training and development cost may be reduced The promotion structure and monitoring will be facilitated It will be advantageous in compensation management, declaring financial and non financial incentives The poor and the best performers may be well identified 3. Carefully follow a format for the specific Job Description when writing the job description for the job you selected. Make sure that you include in you job description the following elements: job description is an activity which will be based on the job analysis and it will be a document where filtering process will be undertaken as at first when I wanted to prepare the job description and wanted to list down the number of activities that are performed it has gone unto 43 then I have started clustering it under different headings therefore I have first started from macro then gone for micro, as already been mentioned in my previous explanation also that we have to develop job or position not job holder or person as the organisation will be stable and positions will be stable but it may be replaced with many eligible people so we designate power, authority accountability, and responsibility to positions and most importantly first the position is created then we will match with the person which is important function in job description The job description is developed to know why the job is to be performed, what are the task that are to be accomplished, and how it has to be performed THE DESCRIPTION FORMAT FOR HR EXECUTIVE Department : Human Resource Department Designation Or Title Of The Job : Human Resources Executive or HR assistant Job Summary :- the job includes carrying on the recruitment and selection for the organisation for which identify the potential sources from which the talent or potential candidates may be sourced, arranging the recruitment and selections. Coordinating with various departments and .forecasting the manpower requirement and coordinate and plan internal and external recruitment, maintaining of database of human resources Job duties and responsibilities :- The job responsibilities may include job analysis Manpower planning by collecting the data from all the departments of organisation Coordinating with all the heads of departments and collecting necessary details of requirements and eligibilities Manpower forecasting and planning Recruitment of candidates by internal and external sources Coordinating with all placement agencies and placement consultants Conducting interviews, review of application forms by various screening techniques Development and maintaining recruitment policy Work with accounts admin department for developing payroll Designing and conducting the induction and skill enhancement training program Reviewing and evaluation of employee performance and constant performance appraisal activities has to be carried on. All the other human resource activities also has to be looked after d) Job requirements :- Candidate has to be well versed with reading, writing and speaking English Person has to have in-depth knowledge of human resource management Should possess negotiation, counselling and motivational skills He has to have knowledge about International labour organisation rules and regulations Thorough knowledge in computers, web browsing and other packages of payroll management e) Minimum qualification The person has to have bachelors or masters degree in personal management, human resource management or any other HR degree from reputed university Diploma in computers Task 2 Clone or Complement? What to look for in a team In many organizations that have moved to a team structure, the team is the principal unit where work gets done. However, most organizations recruit and hire as though there was one job description and the team did not exist. The reality is that people have natural strengths or tendencies and therefore end up playing different roles on a team. For example, some people are naturally empathetic and focused on interpersonal issues. Others are focused on and most comfortable with technical aspects. Others like the excitement of identifying new concepts and solutions but arent cut out for dealing with the operational details needed to carry them through. Recent research has found that allowing people to play to their strengths can yield maximum performance and employee satisfaction. Critical thinking questions IF THERE ARE DISTINCT ROLES TO BE PLAYED ON A TEAM, HOW WOULD YOU GO ABOUT RECRUITING AND HIRING FOR THEM? The business world had made tremendous growth and development not only operationally but also strategically, due to the liberalisation ,globalisation and privatisation the whole world had became a global village ,therefore the need of an hour is the dynamism in operation and matching the trends with constant change for which their has to be the dynamism in the human resources as the organisation does not have any existence if there are no people which has been explained in the definition of organisation Further the recruitment may be by many ways which are as follows The internal recruitment process may be followed where the employees has to be motivated for facilitating in organisation recruitment process, the company may also declare some financial and non financial incentives to present personals (reference method) by this the company may have various advantages like Company may get the trust worthy people as they are been referred The new recruited will be knowing the policies and operations of organisation as referee might have updated him The cohesiveness among the team mates will be high as the are been referred by them only, the learning process will be comparatively faster The company may even have cost effectiveness as this process comparatively will cost less in monetary as well as risk terms The company may also hire the people from the channel member as they may be with good knowledge about organisation modus of operation The present employees working in an organisation on contract or temporary basis also may be hired The organisaton may go for campus recruitment where they may hire fresh talent as trainees where they have to be exposed to the concern teams, the students may also provided the internship or projects where based on their efforts ,ability and interest they may also be recruited The characteristics needed by individual team members depend on the team and the strengths and weakness of others who are on the team. In other words, the situation is much more dynamic than assuming that there is one static job with a single set of qualifications. How could you model or include this dynamic and interactive nature in the recruitment and hiring process? The company may follow as mentioned above and the referral strategy may be also be followed The company may focus on high level and professional induction training with both in house and on the job training methods One of the most advanced method may be Japanese method of life time employment where the candidates has to be hired from their schooling only, there fore the cohesiveness among members will be more ,they will be clear about career path etc The company may also hire some reputed placement consultants and take the help from employee clubs The organisation may also go for set up of its own college or make mou with some reputed university to impart the specialised knowledge of company its policies and procedure as done b mc Donalds and icici Team exercise As a team, identify the roles that you think are important for teams in the workplace. Identify the skills needed to perform each role. It has been stated in the book essentials of management that their are three major skills required in an organisation that has been explains as fallows Conceptual skills Human Skills Technical Skills TOP LEVEL MIDDLE LEVEL LOWER LEVEL The fist category of skills is the conceptual skills: the conceptual skill has to be in maximum quantum by top level and as we go down the level i.e at lower level it decreases The second category of skills is the human skills which are to be in equal quantum by all the levels Third skills are the technical skills which will be at high quantum at lower level and decreases when moved till top level Other skills required are as fallows profitable judgment knowledge about product both technical and non technical effective time managing skills planning and organizing skills communication skills computer and it skills problem-solving and decision-making team-working and developing/helping others energy, determination and work-rate steadiness under pressure leadership and integrity innovativeness ,adaptableness, flexibility, and mobility personal appearance and image appreciation and application of social responsibility, sustainability, and ethical considerations In addition to skills, a natural tendency or motivation to perform in a particular type of role can be critical. How could you measure the motivation needed for each role? How could you measure the skills needed for each role? Motivation is an ongoing process where the motivational needs of the employees change from time to time more so over it has been identified by great researchers like Maslow and Hertzberg who stated different motivational factors for a human being .as stated by Maslow who correlated the needs hierarchy the form of basic needs, security needs, social and love needs, esteem needs and self actualisation need where he explained there are different set of factors at each hierarchy. Which can be correlated as major motivational factors for which a manager has to do following To know the motivational factors of employees first the manager has to be motivated He has to be epithetic Study in detail the organisational goals so as to correlate with goals of employees Then understand what factors motivate them by judgment and experience as well as collecting information from employee itself Recognize that supporting employee motivation is a process, not a task Support employee motivation by using organizational systems (for example, policies and procedures) dont just count on good intentions The factors once identified by analysis ands reviewing job and job description they may be put on a structured or semi structured questionnaire, generally all the motivational factors will be qualitative factors therefore standard scales for measurement may not be used so develop own scale with open-ended, ranking, grading and other qualitative ways of questions the manager may use even attitude measurement scales like likert, thurstone, semantic differential scale etc. How could you effectively recruit for the various positions or roles? In a simpler words the effective recruitment starts with development of effective recruitment plan by appropriate feasting, perfect job analysis ands developing good job description, Present your recruitment and selection plan by preparing a report not exceeding e500 words. R-RESOURCEFUL E-ENERGETIC C-CHARISMATIC R-REALISTIC U-UBIQUITOUS I-INQUISITIVE T-TACTFUL E-EAGER R-RIGHTEOUS Be prepared there is an old phrase in management which says if you fail to plan then you are planning to fail. Therefore if the organized planning is done it will definitely result in reducing time and cost of recruitment at the same time tabbing high potential for which following are to be done Analyze market trend within your business and industry is a very important element of the planning stage. Yet a day is able to create a gigantic differentiation so plan to have a hoard of resources which you can instantly take from as soon as the need arises. There are usually three type of role you will apply in your industry: High churn role usually the least possible time to employ, but the very ften advertisement. The advantage of high churn functions is that you repeatedly get the opportunity to analyse new technique to well adjust your hiring method. This is the group of candidate that your ongoing recruitment drive should be target. There are numerous instance where organisations run recruitment campaign even when they have no vacancy. Medium churn roles these are the role which are seen less frequintly for additional vital part of your organisation. This could be a mid-level manager who leaves their subordinate with no one to report to, or a expert member of staff who has a exceptional skill set. The best way to decrease time to employ with these position is to put up a talent pool which you can contact when the time comes. combine this with a extremely targeted online recruitment campaign should bring you a good number of prospects of candidates to select from. Low churn roles For long term strategically important role which are much less often hired for, its not as much of important for you to fill up the role rapidly and added significant to identify the right person. However, there are still some things you can do to help drive the progression all along.recruiters usually work on commission only and you should be able to get often day to day reports on who in the business may be ready to make a move so when the time comes you know the best people out there to fill the departing shoes. Internal recruitment is your other option for filling a position quickly, although remember that shifting an employee into a new role will only open up a gap elsewhere. Comparing and Contrasting the Monsters of Beowulf with Today´s Criminal

In any classic story about heroes and villains, the monsters involved are often characterized as the evil ones and, consequently, receive no justice under the law. Throughout the epic story Beowulf, the hero of the story encounters three monsters that are threats to society: Grendel, Grendel’s mother, and the dragon. The monsters in Beowulf are quickly targeted and destroyed because of the harm they cause to society. However, upon further examination of the monsters and the motives for their actions, the reader can view the monsters not as the cutthroat villains they may initially appear to be, but perhaps as victims of society. In today’s society, murderers and robbers are also portrayed as â€Å"monsters† because of the atrocious crimes they commit. While it is undeniably wrong to commit any kind of crime and I do not wish to condone murder or theft in any way, there may also be an ulterior explanation for why these modern â€Å"monsters† cause harm to society. In comparing and contrasting the monsters of Germanic epic with criminals of today, perhaps we can gain some insight into the motivation of both. One reason for which monsters are held in contempt in the epics is the authochthonous Germanic culture of the Middle Ages. This broad society respected those with wealth, status, and honor, while those without any of these are shunned. For example, when Beowulf introduces himself to Hrothgar, that king immediately recognizes the visitor: â€Å"[h]is father before him was called Ecgtheow† (Beowulf ln. 373). For Hrothgar to acknowledge Beowulf by his lineage shows Beowulf’s societal prominence: he was born of distinguished quality. Beowulf also proves the quality of his ilk to King Hrothgar through his bravery in fighting Grendel and... ...ities to come together, and causes people to re-evaluate their relationships with one another, all toward ensuring that, on the whole, peace continues into the future. Essay --

There was once a point in time when people fought for the right to do what people in this day and age would an everyday ritual. They had to live with the day to day struggle of having to sneak to pray to their God. The ability to express your thoughts and concerns verbally could cost you your life. Decisions were made without the input of citizens. Like a child, citizens were to be seen and not heard. Independence and freedom was craved so badly, it drove people to leave the place they once called home. Men gathered together collaborating ideas on what would soon be our Constitution. July 4, 1776, life was no longer as some new it. American people were as happy as a child on Christmas. Freedom is something many of us take for granted. To them, freedom was more than just a right. It was the privilege to your opinion out loud. It was the privilege to walk in the building to worship God. It was the privilege to have the ability to make decisions that could impact your country. People lo nged for that right and it was appreciated. America was now a place where people could live freely. There were no strict rules that bounded you from life. Now, according to G.Gordon Liddy, America is no longer this way. According to him and his novel, when he was a kid this was a free country. In the book, "When I Was a Kid, This Was a Free Country," by G.Gordon Liddy, Liddy tells the reader how America has made a drastic change from the 1930's. Using reflections from his childhood, Liddy compares life styles of today's time period to life styles during the time period of his childhood. According to Liddy, his generation is the last generation to remember what the country was like when it was free. The Debate of Animal Testing in Laboratories Essay -- Science Experime

The Debate of Animal Testing in Laboratories Debating over the animal rights movement has raised questions and concerns for many years. Although animal research has been the cause of many medical breakthroughs, is it morally and ethically right to put animals in these kinds of situations? This is one of the underlying questions that must be solved before it is too late. There has already been too much violence and harm caused by the opposing views of this argument. Shouts of protests and riots are heard on the streets, labs and medical equipment are being burned and destroyed and innocent animals are left hanging in the wake. While animal rights organizations fight for more â€Å"kinder, gentler† ways to treat animals, animal research advocates strongly believe that animals unlock the key to curing and ailing diseases. Two sides to pro activists include both animal rights advocates and animal welfare advocates. â€Å"Animal rights means that animals are not ours to use for food, clothing, entertainment, or experi mentation. Animal welfare, on the other hand, permits these uses of animals as long as certain humane guidelines are enforced† (Frequently). Some people believe the concern for animals is a waste of time when there are so many humans in need. Pro activists, however, argue that humans and animals are equally important and both deserve attention. This is a problem that concerns everyone in the world. We, as humans, depend on animals for many things such as food and clothing, so where and when will this controversy end? There must be a compromise, but it is up to us to find the solution to this overwhelming problem. Animal rights activists contribute to the first position on this issue. They believe that animals sho... ...r the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.† It is therefore concluded, from this scripture and research, that animal testing is permissible as long as it is in our best interest and no additional harm is done. Abraham Lincoln summarized my point of view when he said, â€Å"I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being† (Practical Issues). There will hopefully come a day when all the controversy can be set aside and people come together for the sake of the animals. However, that is going to take much effort by both sides and cannot be solved in one day or by one alternative. It is going to take time, effort, and most of all compassion. It is our duty as humans to unite and care for all creatures that God created. Only on that day will animals be truly safe and content.

Responsibility Accounting Essay

It is impossible for top managers to make all the necessary decisions about everything except in very small organizations. Somehow at some point he has to delegate some decisions to those who are at the lower levels and are more knowledgeable to the everyday detail of the company’s operation. By empowering lower level managers to make decisions, decision-making authority is spread throughout the organization rather than being confined to a few top executives. Attached with this decentralized approach, are costs and decisions at each sub-level that managers have to be responsible for. Decentralized organizations need responsibility accounting systems to link the manager’s decision-making authority with accountability for the outcomes of those decisions and to make sure that they are in congruence with the organization’s goals. The term responsibility center is used in any part of the organization whose managers has control and is accountable for cost, profit or investment. An Organizational View of Responsibility Centers †¢The manager of an investment center has control over cost, revenue, and investments in operating assets. Investment centers are usually evaluated using return on investment (ROI) or residual income measures. †¢The manager of a profit center has control over both costs and revenue, but not over the use of investment funds. They are often evaluated by comparing actual profit to targeted or budgeted profit. †¢The manager of a cost center has control over costs, but not over revenue or the use of investment funds. Managers of cost centers are expected to minimize costs while providing the level of products and services demanded by other parts and stakeholders of the organization. For this decentralized structure to be effective, organizations need to employ responsibility accounting. Responsibility accounting refers to the various concepts and tools used by managerial accountants to measure the performance of people and departments to foster goal congruence. Below are some of the concepts and tools that managerial accountants used for responsibility accounting: 1.Segment Reporting – Income statements are generated from each part or activity of an organization (e.g. sales territories, individual stores, service centers, manufacturing plants, marketing departments, individual customers, and product lines). In utilizing this concept of reporting, managers have to identify traceable and common fixed costs and make use of activity-base costing if necessary. These segmented income statements are useful in analyzing the profitability of segments and in measuring the performance of segment managers. 2.Performance report of each responsibility centers – this shows the budgeted and actual amounts, and the variances between these amounts, of key financial results appropriate for the type of responsibility center involved. The data in a performance report help managers use management by exception either to control cost operations effectively, find ways to generate more profit or consider opportunities for investments. 3.Activity-based responsibility accounting – Under this approach, management is directed not only to the cost incurred in an activity but also to the activity itself. Questions like the following will be asked, â€Å"Is the activity necessary?† Does it add value to the organization’s product or service?† Can the activity be improved? By seeking answers to these questions, managers can eliminate non-value added activities and increase the cost effectiveness of the activities that do add value. 4.Customer Profitability Analysis – uses the concept of activity-based costing to determine how serving particular customers causes activities to be performed and costs to be incurred. This focus on major market segments, geographical regions, distribution channels or customers. This also helps managers gain insight into the factors that are driving the company’s performance. Goal congruence results when the managers of subunits throughout an organization strive to achieve the goals set by top management. Given the above concept and with proper implementation an organization is surely rising above its competitors. It is therefore recommended that while top management gave the subunit managers decision-making authority and responsibility accounting systems in place, it is still of utmost importance that both side will conduct regular dialogue and consultations for coordination and to keep each other expectations on the same level and to make sure that top management understands the concerns of the lower level managers and vice versa. Top management also must emphasize that the responsibility accounting systems main functions are information and not blame, make sure costs are distinguished properly between controllable and uncontrollable as this increases the effectiveness of cost management systems, and its usage is to motivate desired behavior that would be beneficial for both the company and the employees. So how does responsibility accounting fosters goal congruence? As companies adopt this concept, top level management can concentrate on bigger issues such as overall strategy of the company. This allows as well lower-level managers to respond more quickly to customers and to changes in the operating environment since layers of decisions makings and approvals have been eliminated, and lower managers are now given the chance to be trained for higher positions. Consequently, as lower level managers make decisions they are expected that their motivation for work and job satisfaction is increased because the decision-making authority empowers them. But the concept of responsibility accounting is not only limited to an organization’s structure. For any type of cost whether from an organization’s perspective or from your personal life, an important key to managing or controlling the cost is to make it someone’s responsibility. And whether we like it or not, decisions has to be made, the only difference is that if we are choosing to make the right decisions or the wrong ones.

Gender role Essay

Bros earlier hos, The big cat order, is a issuee by Michael Kimmel, published on the Anthology portable legacies on 2009 On this piece Kimmel explains what The guy engrave is and how these en workment checks guys masculinity in todays rules of order and how society expects guys to behave. Kimmel also explains that young boys ar taught these rules by a male public figure in their unrecordeds at a genuinely young age and they grow up with the pressure of having to follow these rules no result what. The guy engrave is a line of battle of rules, traits and values that make a reality. What is a man? was the fountainhead asked to teenagers in their slow teens and early 20s. Where their answers were things handle newss dont battle cry, Dont get tired of(p) Get even, Take it same(p) a man, and m whatsoever to a greater extent.Kimmel consequently proceeds and gives the four rules that have been summarized by Robert Brannon, a social psychologist of the 1970s. Some o f these rules ar No sissy stuff, Be a Big Wheel, Be a Sturdy Oak, control em Hell. (655) These rules supposedly define masculinity and that peerless a man disobeys those rules, the risk is being bullied with words same fatigueot and gay that are apply as an insult to describe a mans weakness. The guy code also creates competition between intimately men, from playing the best sports, go jobs, pretties girl, nicer cars, and so forth and it has been like this from a long sequence ago due to men wanting(p) the power, respect, and that image of being better than the motive(a)wise man. Creating the image that tout ensemble men are supposed to be un feelingal, powerful and prospered beings. Kimmel also claims that in the future, the guy code causes social and psychological tasks for boys and young men.Renteria 2 Men have been taught this guy code ever since they were young boys their uncles, grandpas, daddy, coaches, peers or each male figure in a mans life are the ones that start pr secondice forward little boys to man up or dont cry and is no longer able to cry or prove emotion, leading to their behavior in the future. The little kids learn to always stamp down in their emotion and to never show weakness. Kimmel then gives an example of how boys are introduced to the guy code A three socio-economic class old boy that was crying at the barbershop because he was burnt by savory chemicals. The barber verbalise to the boys dad, he was a wimp for crying and he call for to stay away from his mom and the boys dad decided after that, his child was disbursement much(prenominal) judgment of conviction with him and less time with his mother because he was s carefulnessd of his sonbeing a mamas boy. (659) As a child grows up and parents push them to be strong and tough by retentivity them away from their mothers nurturing.Kimmel also talks slightly the Gender Police that is basically other guys approximately them who watch and judge how they act , what they wear and prescribe even how they locomote because with a little natural drip on their hips they could be called a fag making homosexuality seems as a weakness. The gender police makes them aroma like they are ust waiting for any(prenominal)one else to fucking up, for someone to wear something pink or acting a little bit feminine. and near putting standards for each other, forcing themselves and guys some them to create a fake span where they act rough and manly around each other. This judgments make man feel like they are being watched because of the concern of being ridiculed and humiliated by their peers. Kimmel said that men are more intimately what other men think c suffer to them however the judgment from girls because as a girl the social media taught us to be attracted to tough guys, for example in any Disney movie where the superhero is the dependable, rich, handsome, muscular guy who takes care and provides everything for the girl, creating an ide a that masculinity is success, wealth and power.Renteria 3 Peers are another big go and problem of this guy code. other example from the condition is ab out Don,a former Lehigh College football player, who discuses the effects of always having to put up a front and act tough in front of his teammates and his coaches. He says that his coach would always make maneuver of or humiliate any one of his players for showing any sign of weakness or fatigue. Don says Im sure he thought he was building up our strength and baron to play, but it wore me out trying to get to all the time, to suck it up and just take it.(656) If a guy doesnt follow the rules in the guy code he will be criticized by other man, often times bullied, and lose friends which leads to low self-stem. Men are stimulate of what other men will say or think about them heedless of the situation. While the Guy Code dust coatthorn have been meant to make men stronger it causes more harm than good turning out more self de structive in the end It causes them to grow up thought process that showing emotion is never an option, which leads them to depression, and emotion issues, aggression towards themselves and the ones around them. Kimmels article is really good, since it talks about a topic that need to be discussed more it gives examples andeven talks about of where the problem begins but it nonetheless seems quite extra to me since as Kimmel explains what the guy code is, it still does not apply to all man, for the reasons that for some guys, the guy code is just a challenge or a cast where they learn how to express their emotions, also the question that were being asked only cover white middle class man that live in a certain area, In America theres a great variety of immigrants coming from places all around the world, also if Kimmel had questioned people from a less homophobic part of the country, then there would be a better chance of getting a more gender equal survey.Work citedKimmel, Micha el. Humour in ‘Pride and Prejudice’

Laughter, to put it is much few more than a answer to humor.Collins.Mr.Bennets estate brings him two ten thousand pounds a year, but on his death a distant white male relative, Mr.Collins, will inherit both his estate logical and this income.Laughter is a superb antidote to stress.Bennet that he free will be joining them for dinner. In his letter, Mr.Collins explains that he is a clergyman in the patronage of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, in Hunsford, Kent. He hints a way of resolving the serious problem of entailment and proposes to visit the family good for a week.

Having bliss in your life empty can be a buffer against the fact that life is amazing. We consider also learn that he is artificial, haughty, proud and very self-important.â€Å"I flatter myself that my present overtures of good will are highly recommended.†The pedantically worded first letter reveals Mr.Collinss artificiality.Laugh with all the folks you social work with. This may have seemed very comical to the reader as Mr.Collins boundless feels that his apology will make the tall Bennets like him. This reinforces how shallow, insincere logical and single-minded Mr.Collins actually is.

Humour has an important part at work.Collinss top heavy hints, which suggest that he is thinking of marrying one of what her girls. This reinforces Mrs.Bennets shallowness. Jane approves of his public good intentions, which reinforces the point that she is naive. As its mostly dominated by emotions, attraction isnt a thing.Collinss folly. As how does the reader.Later on, after his arrival at the Bennets estate, Mr.Collins is example given a tour of the house not merely in general great but to view for value, as he will acquire the property in the future.

You good will find a collection of composing styles.Collins thinks highly of himself. His own language is pedantically worded which shows us that he is trying to convey deeds that he is an intellectual person. The character of Mr.Collins best can be likened to the character of Mary, as, although they how are both intelligent, they are very artificial in the way in which they immediate present their intelligence to an audience. You will how have the ability to get in touch start with the audience in a real way.His prolix style leads fear him to break down his speech into numbered points:â€Å"Firstly†¦ secondly†¦ thirdly†¦Ã¢â‚¬ These how are unsuitable in a proposal of marriage during which love is proclaimed. Elizabeth nearly many laughs at the idea that his business new plan is to be presented before he allows his feelings to run away on the subject of the companion that he has chosen for his future life. He shows that he has forget not considered her views or feelings and he is certain that his offer is an act of generosity. The scene is richly comic, but harsh realities underlie the situation.

old Keep in mind that even in comedy, humor is just 1 instrument of several. He is turned down and how this comes as a shock to him. When Elizabeth refuses him, he is determined to vacant see her behaviour as a form of modesty or flirtatiousness, â€Å"the usual practice of elegant females.†The reader comes across utter absurdity in the way Mr.Collins describes Lady Catherine de Bourgh. In fact, it is the consequence of fear. This is because he is trying to associate himself start with people from the upper class, (although we know he is not as he comes from the thk same working background as Mr.Bennet). Furthermore, in chapter 16, Mr.Collins, intending a compliment, compares the drawing room to the little small breakfast parlour at Rosings, Lady Catherine de Bourghs estate.

Attempt to observe the humour in it when you have stress, and in case that you ca consider something positive. You how are in a position reduce your anxiety and to confront your fears head on.Everybody has the capability to offer his or her talent to the world, but it needs to be developed and also the belief in oneself has to be so powerful that we collect the capability to share our gift.If theres still something to laugh 14, it cannot be bad.

You have to be sure to write down every second one of your thoughts. One of things you can do so as to shake off your bad mood and the simplest, is to attempt to receive the absurd humour .A good feeling of humor is the capacity to experience humor. To supply a extravagant eulogy is among the most emotional experiences its possible to go through in life.
